Description

Ring nebula (M57) is a planetary nebula that happened due to end of star life. when the star nuclear fuel depleted, star shrinks to form a white dwarf in the center and the other star’s material exploded to make a colorful wisps in the sky. This deep sky object is so small, its only 3 x 3 arc min. However, its about 2000 ly from us. The image shows also, the spiral galaxy IC 1296 at top left. This distant galaxy is 200 million light years from us. Gear setup: Celestron 127 Mak @f/ 7.5, Meade 6.3 F/F, ZWO mini guide 30, ZWO ASI 120mm-s, ZWO 294MC pro cooled @ 0, Baader UHC-S, iOptron GEM45. Acquired by APT, PHD2, 38 x 5 min subs dithered, 20 Flats, 20Darks, 20 Bias. Total integration is 3 hrs & 10min. Stacked by DSS and processed by PS 2020 CC. Imaged from sky Bortle 4 and cropped.
